The Seed of Abraham has answered the call of the Great Commission. We have sent the Word of God over the airwaves into the Eastern, Central and Southern Regions of Africa.

Prophetess Mattie Bass has been preaching in Zimbabwe, Southern Africa for many years at the invitation of Prophet Andrew Wutawunashe of The World-Wide Family of God Churches. She is usually accompanied by a small delegation.

Prophetess has ministered in Kenya at various times and when Dr. A. G. Thankachan of New Covenant Ministries asked her to come to India (1998), she and her team traveled and ministered to the people at Vishakhaptnam, India.

Under the leadership of the late Bishop D. V. Khobidi, the Seed of Abraham now has acquired 57 churches in Malawi and Mozambique, Central Africa. The Seed of Abraham gives financial support to this ministry monthly.

In 2003 Prophetess Bass and her team traveled to Malawi. She installed Pastor Evans Khobidi, the son of the late Bishop as the Overseer of these 52 Seed of Abraham Churches.

UPDATE: Currently as of February 2017, we have 30 churches in Mozambique and 23 assemblies in Malawi. The approximate number of members is 3888, as in total number of families... excluding kids. There are 53 churches in two nations under the leadership of Bishop Evans Khobidi, DD.

Many have come to Christ at this centre.

And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.   Isaiah 35:8

Pastor Evans Khobidi & Prophetess Bass

PROPHETESS Mattie Bass, founder and overseer of The Seed of Abraham Pentecostal Church, is on a week-long tour of the church's stations and establishments in the country.
The Seed of Abraham general secretary Evans Khobidi said the USA prophetess decided to visit Malawi following a request from late Bishop Dulla Voster Khobidi-the church's regional overseer who died last March.
Khobidi said Bass is accompanied by Lois Sharpe, Chuck Benard Harmon, Beverly Hicks and Calvin Robinson.
During the tour, Bass will among other activities, hold seminars for ministers, youths and lay leaders at Chifundo I Orphan Care Centre in Ndirande.
"That aside, she will also appoint and consecrate the new regional overseer to replace Khobidi.
"The group leaves the country on Tuesday, leaving behind Prophet Harmon who will visit and evangelise every branch of the church in Malawi and Mozambique", he said, adding that this is the first time for the 86-year old prophetess to visit Malawi.
The church, whose mission statement is to reach the lost for Jesus Christ, has 57 branches and 3,9994 registered members in Malawi and Mozambique.

Chuck [former Director of Ministry/Relief Programs to Central Africa] ministered in some of the Malawi churches but was unable to get into Mozambique. However, we did have fellowship with Mozambique pastors.
